"Something that is true"
Well I'm sure that those clever people may think;
"Something that is correct" That is one way of looking at it, but if you have been reading past posts I'm sure you'll guess that this then leads to the problem, what is correct?
All these questions are what I call, the unquestionable. To start with, if I asked you to believe something that you never even knew existed, I doubt you would fall for it, in fact I could almost guarantee it. However that's basically what you doing with the concepts I have just put forward to you.
There seems to be some sort of thing that makes our brains accept these ridiculous concepts so easily, say our brain is a computer, we seem to have this pre-installed program running on it, like Microsoft, everyone accepts that it's there, but nobody really wants it. However you don't see people having riots in the streets demanding answers do you?
It's a bit like that with us really, and I'm almost embarrassed to say it but, we really are stupid, yeah we can do some pretty amazing things but, if we can dismiss things so easily, then surely something hasn't worked as well as it should do.
I personally think, in the tangled mess that's our brain, we have something sort of, wired into it, that means we simply dismiss something we don't understand unless we are forced to do something about it, well this is me, forcing you.
