Imagine you are standing in this box, and its about 100 times bigger than you are. If I said, 'Touch the ceiling.' you can't, as there's nothing in the box that would help you. If I said, 'Touch the top half.' you wouldn't be able to, there's nothing to help you, remember?
Well I think there is. How do you reach the top of the box? Simple, you use the box. How do you overcome your mind? By using your mind, but it's not as simple as you think. Many people take advantage of the mind that they have, and don't really use it to its maximum potential. Notice how I said maximum. I don't think it goes on for ever, I just think we can't get to it.
But isn't it worth trying to? If your sitting in front of your computer screen nodding along like the Churchill bulldog, then you've practically completed stage one: Knowing what's at the top of the box. It's a bit boring to stop there though isn't it? This is where it starts to get tricky. Sort of paradoxical, because to work out how far your mind can go, you have to use your mind. Don't worry if you're loosing me here though, I'll explain it in a sec.
Now getting back to a small bit of reality. The only way you can overcome your mind, is by using your mind. That seems pretty hard, right? Well it is, what us humans may call 'impossible', but there's really no such thing. If someone says something is impossible, the only reason that they have said this, is that person just can't reach some parts of their box.
I reckon it's impossible for one single person to reach all four corners of their box.
Yeah, impossible.
Thing Two.
