I can tell automatically your starting to disagree with this statement and maybe secretly deep down think;
"I rule the world!"
Well, hate to break it to you, but you don't, well not really anyway. Many people think that the human race, being the most intelligent rule the world. That's a very simplistic point of view and is very common, but really you have to think further on than just humans, and more about the humans actions, or as this article suggests, opinions.
How we work is that very clever important people share their opinions to the less important people until their opinions are all the same, this is how its meant to work. This is what politics is based on, people sharing views and rules etc. However you need to think a bit further than just that, start thinking about facts, stories and other things you have just accepted without thinking about.
Normality is a common one, The whole idea of something being normal is basically your opinion about what being normal is, however people never realise this, nor do they realise what I think is an 'opinion overlap'. This is basically when more than one person share the same opinions and views, therefore they get stronger. This then works in a sort of chain reaction across the globe until it reaches conflict.
How this then rules the world is another matter, first you actually have to have a decent opinion, secondly you have to get people to accept and share it. Then most importantly, pass it on. Although this seems very simple, its practically impossible to get the whole world to agree on one thing, so not one individual will ever 'rule the world'.
But, as I stated before, we don't rule the world, our opinions do that for us, there's not a problem or theory in the world that isn't a matter of opinion, many of you think that because we have proof for something, that it's no longer an opinion and more a fact, but it's still somebody's opinion that it's a fact if you know what I mean.
So maybe one day, your opinion, may change the world, make it a better or worse place, problem is, they will never know it was you.
